I made an appointment at my Triumph dealer 3 weeks ago to change out my two tires and do the 10K service.

At that time they ordered the Exedra Max for the rear to replace the Metzler with 9K on it. And the Avon for the front to replace another cupped Metzler.

It's an hour ride to this particular dealer, there are others closer but these guys have been pretty good to me so I go out of my way to give them my business.

I arrive there at 9am, check in and then walk down the block for breakfast.

During my biscuits and gravy breakfast I get a call.

Me: hello?

Rick: hey Jim it's Rick at the dealership, your Avon never came in...

Me: Dude your killing me!

Rick: I'm sorry man, I'll make it up to you.

So I walk back, hang out for a couple hrs..... Finally the bike is ready..

He took off $20.00 on the price of the Bridgestone and $50.00 off the price of the service.

So all said and done I got the tire and service for $613.00

Not bad I guess, I seem to remember the 10K on my Touring to be $600.00 all by itself.

I was really looking forward to getting rid of the front Metzler though :(

What's the 10K service involve? Isn't it valve check? I'd say that's a good price. I got quoted around $550 to replace both tires. I knew the 240 rear would chew up some jing.

I asked him about the valve check, he said that Triumph took that off the list for the 10K and added it to the 20K and then every 20K after that

next change check the azaro rear (if still available) for the front I think it is a very good replacement ( I chose it over the cobra.)

There is also a Pirelli that fits the front, night dragon if I recall correctly. Supposed to be awesome for a fair price if you want to try something different.

630 isn't so bad really.

Got the call today, the Avon Cobra finally came in says he won't charge me for the installation due to the long wait. Looking forward to see how it pairs with the Bridgy in the back :)
