08 R3T K&N RU-2780 triple filter

To install the triple filters is it as simple as removing the air box, plenum etc and installing the filters direct onto the throttle body assembly. Can't find clear info online but have seen a "kit" mentioned a few times so question is, is another adaptor needed?
Also; K&N triple or Ramair?

I did this with RU-2780 triple filters on a 2007 Classic. I cut the bear claw to make room. If there is a ramair available for the Touring, it should fit under the bear claw, I guess. The manifold comes out down to the air box. The filters go on the TBs. Mount the air temp sensor close to a filter between the TBs. Put a small filter on the crankcase vent. There’s not much reason to do this unless you have an aftermarket exhaust with cat delete. Then you need to make sure you can tune it.
 
Thanks mate. Running short pipes with cat delete (previous owner) no baffles but has a db killer.; nice sounds Getting a set of OEM pipes and plan to modify, remove cats and end baffle set. So was thinking of doing air intakes same time before a dyno tune.
