05 drain plug o ring and seal

No help here at the local dealer! Does anyone have a part number for the O ring and Flat aluminum washer for the main oil drain plug? I filed flat the washer last time I changed oil but 2K later it leaks again. So simple but still a $60 fix unless you can get the wife to finger it while you got the plug out. Bike Bandit doesn't help either.

According to my dealer receipt for the last ones I bought:

2 each T3550605 Washer, Sealing, 14.7 x 21.75 x 2

1 each T3550123 Washer, Sealing 24.0 x 16.3 x 2.0

1 each T3600104 O-Ring, ID 12.1 x 1.6

I've done several oil changes without replacement of the crush washer with absolutely no leaks.

I hand tighten to far less than the recommended psi. It's actually a lot numerically in newton meters I've hand tightened to a tad over 10 and have reused for now until, it starts seeping. I've said I'll get a bag of 'em when I can; but, I haven't gotten anxious about it, yet. thrifty I like to think

Competition or rather depressed competition is counter to good service.

I would never gripe about getting what I paid for; I have that choice. When I'm quoted an estimate I don't plan on taking out a second mortgage. But I do expect the gremlins to be removed at the deal struck or very close to it. I fiercy hate having to debate incompetence when their cable man approach failed to resolve the issue. Half-Assed resolutions are no resolution at all!

Same here. In fact, I have never replaced a crush washer on any of the six bikes I have owned, and have never had a leak in any of them. "Crush Washer" is a religion.

Thanks pig man, those sizes actually measure very close to the drain plugs just looking at the outside and guess ta matin the ID. I'll give them a try- beats the 32mm they sent me last time with no returns!

Go down to the local NAPA and pick up a few 14mm copper or aluminum crush washers.

Many auto supply shops keep these behind the counter and you will need to ask for them. They are cheap, so I regularly keep an assortment of 14mm and 18mm crush washers for use on sump plugs and Lambda (O2) sensors.

Copper crush washers can be heated to a dull red glow with a torch to anneal (soften) the copper when they stop sealing well.

Most automotive dealerships (foreign and domestic) keep them in stock in the parts department as well.

Thanks for all the part numbers etc. Got everything replaced and not a leak for a couple of hundred miles. Now the same dam problem. Guess I'll keep a rag handy. Can run it on the garage for 30 min and no leaks. A 15 mile run on the highway produces the drips.
