I've been really upset with Triumph over my non-functional rear brake, then my Ducati started having the same issue. Turns out more new bikes than ours have this issue. Ours may be worse than most, but the simple fact that the ABS module has to be higher than either the master or slave cylinders, is a situation you can't get around (unfortunately).

Yes let's fix the issues before adding a bunch of electrical crap. I do not need adaptive cruise control at all. I watch the vehicles infront of me and drive my own machine. I do need brakes. More fuel range would be a lot nicer than some new warning lights.

As much as I like the looks of the Gen 2 model along with the 2500cc bragging rights, I still prefer my Gen 1 ride. Bigger gas tank (24 liters - 6 US gallons), better luggage options, windshield options, passenger seats, backrests and is easier to work on (except for rear tire change). I know that the newer model has more power, is lighter, handles better, has cruise and appears to have a more reliable tranny/engine combo but routine maintenance looks a bit onerous. I'm also not a big fan of all the electronics along with the fact that I live over 8 hours from the nearest dealer... I'm getting to that age that I don't really like rolling the dice with warranty issues. The analog system on the Gen 1 model is perfect for me since I do all my own maintenance.

Concerning the "New Spied Rocket" it looks like another slight change the way the Classic morphed into a Roadster...
