Rear Wheel Refitting

Great news, thanks. Everything lined up perfectly, except the depth under the hub dust cover. The wheel spins fine, and the brakes are free.
If you look at the video picture Pica linked you'll see the black dust cover doesn't cover that recess in the wheel hub. Also the work shop manual shows it looking like your installed rear wheel.

Yeah, I watched it, it was hard to tell, tbh. I got the exhausts to mount tomorrow and then take it for a blast. If you hear a loud scream over there, thats me going splat when the wheel siezes up and throws me.:D

I had the rear wheel axle nut fall off and the axle partially back out and I didn't crash, I knew something was off when making a turn and the bike rear end stepped out. Rear wheel lockup on the Rocket is normal under hard braking so at worst you'll slide a ways. If you don't hear grinding when you spin the wheel now you're fine.

Cheers. This bike is all new to me. Therefore, the basic questions. I've ridden a lot of different machines. My other bike is the CBR1100XX for when I'm feeling very naughty. This Rocket has been mildly looked after by the previous 2 owners, so a fair bit to do. Plenty of silly questions coming from me. I do plenty of research before asking, though. I'm not lazy in that department. Just to say thanks to all who advised me.

We're happy to help. I have some other rides as well:

Not getting any feedback so far. I fitted the wheel and brakes this morning. All torqued up and no binding at all. The cailliper needed a little tapping to slot between the wheel and frame, but it does not bind at all. Going off this photo, it looks like the wheel has not seated fully into and under that black plastic shroud. If the wheel went that much further to the left, the calliper would definitely not fit and would bind the disc. So is this missing a cover on the left, or is this normal? Your thoughts, please.
Been a while since I've been on this. I just discovered the plonker before me fitted the front wheel spacer to the rear and vice versa! What an idiot, me more so for riding like that.
