Hi all, after ECU mapping for my 08R3T.
1. mapping for current setup. Cat eliminated with straight pipe (just db killer no baffles)
2. Mapping for planned mods. Cat eliminated no baffles modified OEM pipes and triple k&n filters, air box eliminated.

Have emailed and messaged a few contacts recommended on this forum but assuming they are no longer active.
Thanks in advance and keep the shiney side up!
Nb; currently has a nice pops on deceleration so assuming running lean - ish. Fuel economy crap but might be the way I'm learning to ride the beast...

I never got more than 33 mpg unless I was in a herd of Harleys (2009 Run For The Wall). The decel pop may not be indicative of over lean at power, only last bit of throttle. To check, pull one plug and see if the electrode is light chocolate brown or white (white too lean). You can go to TuneECU's website and see the various custom maps available. There is a note preceding the list that says the 2300 can only be remapped using a cable.

@atomsplitter legend many thanks really appreciate the info.

Anyone know of a kiwi (New Zealand) contact who knows TuneECU?. A little nervous about installing an upgrade... Have TuneECU and appropriate .hex file downloaded. Is there a preferred option to TuneECU seen as it doesn't seem supported and I can't register it.
Thanks.

Assuming you have the correct cable and it can connect to your ECU the drop down menu should have a block to tap for a license and then register your ECU. If you haven't paid for the license (allows up to 5 bikes) there will be an option to do that (about $28 the last time I did it). (Note: this is not the fee you pay for the app.) Once that's been paid the bike's ECU will connect to TuneECU.
