Mine are ceramic coated inside and chrome outside. Trust me the heat is tremendous. Plan for heatshields.

Oh good to know. I wonder what a difference ceramic coating will do on both sides
The engine with raised compression will need all the extra exhaust cooling for you to be able to ride.

Another thing i was contemplating was going with a full front end, i saw this picture a while ago and i LOVE the way it looks
any clue as to who sells this or was it custom made? I tried looking up the image but i found it here with no success... is it a concept art?

It was just concept art. Never actually built. Would have been really nice if somebody made that fairing and bags.

Plans changed this winter. We are moving from our apartment into a home, My parents are retiring from work this year this summer and are moving in with us... so its time to move, $ and time are NOT on my side so its going to have to wait till later to do performance and paint etc... I'm just going to do the trans work for now....

So i was unable to get the rocket fixed in time to move, we just got a home and i think i have to put the rear wheel on a dolly roller or something. the trans is LOCKED UP so this is GOING TO BE FUN... NOT

i must be a true wrencher... the ONLY bike i have that runs is the ex500 ninja and NONE of the other bikes can actually move, nighthawk has no front end, F7 still just a frame, rocket locked up... FFS i hate moving but this is worth it. My mom and dad are moving from MD to CO to live with us.

an update... we are all moved into the house, took a while to get things to a state i can keep working in. im at a cross roads, i want to do the carpenter kit but IMO time is the problem, i have to DIY so that means either i wait till this winter/ next year or just have someone local to me do the trans work??? IDK i sure miss riding her, im putting a LOT of miles on the Ninja though, i had to get a work shop 12 miles from me to store my work truck and equipment as the HOA wont let me park here any more now.. big cut away truck. SO i have to ride to and from every day to get the truck then go to work...
