Just testing, thoughts?

If anyone asks what it is, it is a security lock that goes onto a disc of the front brake. This mounted bracket allows its transport.

Why there? Well, the holes aligned. :)~

Looks fine where you've put it. It'd be too low for me though, I'd just put it in the tail pack that goes everywhere with me.
Is there much chance of road grit etc getting into the keyhole & stopping the key from working? Just asking because I've never used a disc lock & am unsure where the keyhole is.

Well, seen a vid where there was a theft of a bike on the street. So, 2 people on one bike come, one gets off and uses legs on the handlebar to break the handlebar lock, then switches to Neutral, sits on the bike, the other dude, who is still on the bike they came on, pushes the rider on the stolen bike by the back, and they both ride off. Not putting a disc lock when you leave your ride on the street is just like 15 seconds before it gone. No key or ignition solution of any kind needed. No big van. Just 15 seconds for you to look away.
