I have sold a few solo buckets and rider backrests over the years and they will cost you about US$500+ second hand if you can ever find one. I saw the most recent rider's backrest by itself sold on eBay here in Oz a month ago for a good price after being listed a few times and had posted it in the Forum classifieds a few months ago.

The Solo rack that is located where a pillion would sit is even rarer and I have only seen 1 or 2 for sale in 9 years that I have had daily worldwide searches on eBay for Triumph Rocket items.

There are the quick release racks and sissy bars which locate behind a pillion but can be used with Solo Bucket seats too.
I still have a few of these NOS with the factory Longhaul sissy bar backpads.

Edit: wow, time flies, 11 year old post. I wish I still had it, my wife no longer rides with me.

Best solo seat for touring, if you cant find a triumph solo gel, than a corbin solo works well. Corbin has recovered and reshaped the one i use. I went with all leather, vinyl does better with rain. I picked there snakeskin( fake vinyl) and it peeled, they replaced cover with my choice of material for free, i choose viny ll all black, then last year had it recovered and reshaped my dime 400 with just mailing it in and marking my seat, where to remove and where to add, great job love the seat, all day saddle.

I'm very partial to the full size Gel Touring seat with backrest for operator......Very Comfortable

Most comfortable motorcycle seat I've ever sat on.

OK then, SOLO Mustang for Touring...
After i get my bike out of winter storage, I'll install this SOLO seat and report back....(being Specific)
