Two Toy runs in Melbourne this weekend.

Just wondering if it's a big thing globally? I try and do them every year, weather looks promising for a change.
 
I do the same. Here in Oklahoma their popularity seems to be fading. Advertising toy runs and get togethers afterwards was common. Not advertised very well and no planned events afterwards believe is the reason for the decline of toy runs. One big one this weekend Toys For Tots in Tulsa.
 
Got a toy run to a local hospital on 21st Dec and Santa's on a bike on 14th to a local hospice - still popular in UK but very regional
 
Not bike related, but we have an annual revolver match over the holidays. This year I gave a $5 discount on the match fee if they bring a toy for Children's Mercy Hospital. Hope to be able to drop off a bunch of goodies before Christmas.
 
Are you all just making Chinese toy makers very happy? ;):unsure::whitstling::cautious:

I am sure the charities would be able to use checks or some younger kids be happy to play with handmade locally made toys.
There are community 'Men's Sheds' here in OZ that make such items year round from scrounged, recycled and bought materials. Similar may exist locally that could use your support or have a go. Just a thought:)

I still like the idea of @sonny turning up towing his punt full of toys behind his Rocket though! ;):D:cool:
