    Rocket storm ecu in an older rkt.

    Just wondered if anyone has downloaded a storm map and uploaded to to pre storm bike .To me this would theoretically give your older bike the same power as the storm with a straight swap of maps .

    Love the paint job , and the instrument cluster graphics animation .I own a rkt3 r model and i bet most of these will be bought by American customers .With a limited edition i think these will be future classics.I am tempted to get my bike painted in the same colour scheme .

    Nashvegas was spot on 18 mls then it started to let me know i was out of fuel .My old Honda vtx1800 also had an internal fuel pump and it would go 30 mls after the fuel light came on. Honda did away with the internal fuel pump on later bikes and re located the fuel pump beside the frame as...

    So my bike was showing 0 miles left , how many more miles do you think i got before it did run out !.Before any one asks a fellow trike rider had 2x 1 gallon containers in his boot if he had not then i would not had tried this .I did not go over 55 mph whilst waiting for the bike to conk out .

    Glad Triumph did the right thing especially as my bike was out of warranty .My rear brake re call was also done and so far so good a nice firm lever .

    Ok so some good news Triumph uk said they will replace my cracked instrument cluster with a new unit free of charge even although my bike is out of warranty .Now i just need the saftey re call parts to arrive .

    My dealer told me that i would need to purchase a new instrument cluster at £1350 , mine has the common crack at the bottom and some folks have been lucky enough to have it replaced irrespective of whether the bike was or was not still under warranty .I will send an e mail to triumph uk and...
