When I got my new second hand bike it had just had a new rear Metzeler put on it. The front is Avon and looking only a few thou away from replacement. What’s a good front to run?

You can't go past the Avon Cobra front.

But me reckons you can indeed improve on a front Avon Cobra.
I have run several Avon Cobras up front and on the rear.
The Michelin Road 5 150/70ZR17 is a much better handling tire.

Mate just dont let him try and fit a DS to your Rear Rim , he tried for me and gouged/bent it slightly , haha after that he refused to ever try putting a car tire on a bike ever again.

And they just got back to me bridgestone excedra max balanced amd fitted 100 bucks cheaper than the triumph dealer

Triumph in Moss St Springwood always fitted my Exedra think it was about $360 and they recomennded Avon up front with it.
