Hello

I just make first run 320 km in my new suspension

rear: Wilbers 630 TS Competition and front Wilbers progressiv fork springs

http://www.motorcycle-suspension.com/wi ... index.html

Fast corners it is wery good . but in normal driving it is wery hard. my weight is 85 kg and tires is Pirelli diablo and BST rims..

Bike stop woples in fast cornerin. ( that is my priority to new suspension)

and rebound damping. is wery good, Front is really nice you can hit brakes, and dont have to worry that front end goes totally bottom

more after trac day !

Yes i took stock lenght.

Pirelli tires is great.. but you remember i have BST carbon rims so it is 18" it dont fit original rim

Did you get the stock length 12.5" (320 mm)? Did you consider going higher? I notice your link sells a kit for raising the height. I wonder how that thing works?

Could you tell a big difference with the Pirelli tires? They have to stick pretty well.[/quote]

I also noticed that the wilbers where a bit hard. The fronts great with the wilbers springs and ive now got shorter proggressives the cheap ones on the back and its more comfortable and handles as well as i dare go.

Now I have nice set up, and i love my new suspension Wilbers is great
just need litel time to make set up and it is ok. Tomorrow is trac day ( last time i dont get licens to ride . there is desibel limit 96 desibel when bike is 5000 rpm and my exhaust sound is 100 desibel) but that trac is not chek eny exhaust sound . so tomorrow is time to test all modifications and tires.... nice

Got my wilbers set up to my liking in the end , took a lot of little tweaks on the adjusters , but well worth it in the end .
But now realise how poor the suspension was as a whole , you can have a firm ride that is comfortable

Have the Wilbers with an additional lenght of 20 mm, gives you a lot more cornering clearance. Wilbers asked my weight, how often I ride with a passenger and his/hers addtional weight. They calculate what tension the spring than has to have to satiesfy your needs. Mine is a bit harder than stock but the whole package is ideal IMHO. Only problem is my short legs...
I do have the cosiba seat that adds a bit height plus the shocks plus the front fork springs...and I´m only 172cm "short" I still reach the ground with both legs, but just.
