Widow maker journey to the 200hp club

I posted the difference because lately there has been talk about touring using tune 20368, make sure you have nels loaded or she will be knee capped with 20368 stock tune, 3rd gear 5000 rpm limit, 80% throttle in 4th and 5th and a 120mph limit totally unacceptable

Well today it was a baseline for where the journey starts. I took the widow maker in to the dyno jet to see what’s actually going on in her mind. A little recap, nels tune 23068, d and d slip ons ( today with taters in) I know they gotta go, crossover pipe and ram air. Well she seems to cut that throttle off at 80%, she sets her top speed at 120mph, but we’re on our way. More parts on the way.
I don’t know how to edit so, I’ll just say it, I had wrong 20368 tune in, mistake 1 I’m sure I’ll make more but I’m learning a lot, thanks @DEcosse for catching stock tune for being issue with limiters showing up on dyno pull

Only 200? Pity. :p
@Claviger and @1olbull say that’s a good area for street fighting and twisties, and that’s what widow maker does, and to be honest it’s probably top of my capability range slinging around a 1000 lbs like I ride at, with the fairing and all. But one day I might try to become a member of youlls club as I grow as a rider

200 is a ton of fun and the great thing about it, is you're not trading much low end for more top end, which is why it feels so great imho. It can be fully used cornering and shoots you off sweepers in an amazing way.

In the right hands a 200hp rocket is still a liter bike killer in the 1/4 mile.

Snap got all excited seeing shooting off corners and killing liter bikes then reread and stumbled across In the right hands, it ain’t easy being a truck driver with a 3lb hammer :banghead:

The 265 kit is even worse, I think, I compared Steel's graph to mine, I think I might have more area under the curve than him, if I remember correctly he only had 3 or 4 ft lbs more on the torque, and only rose above mine right near the end before they both fell off. If I knew then what I know now, I might have gone for something a little more streetable.

As I have researched I saw a post you mentioned that about being able to use all that especially up top
