Why We Ride - A Documentary Film

i ride because people made fun of me when i just sat on the bike in the garage going "vroom vroom"...

Don't take it heart man I still sit in the garage going Vroom Vroom ..... It ain't you with the problem believe me

I ride because I wished for one every birthday until I got it at age 7. No one in my family had one and I had never rode with someone so I really don't remember where it started.

In Arkansas RAA 7 a medium size group of us rode by a home where a young boy stood in awe as we rode by. He was over joyed when several of us waved. Making his day made mine.

I ride because i used to wish i had a motorbike every time i rode my push bike up a hill, and how good was it when i got my first motor bike at 16 y and rode up that hill

Got the Tiger , promising to chain it up and he hold the key until I got my licence. Man that was a long 8 weeks. The love of riding large motorbikes has been the one real constant during my whole life.

I soon found riding on pavement had lots to offer and never looked back. My short tenure on earth has taken me to 42 countries and many harsh moments. Life has been good to me though but those rough minutes are softened by getting on the bike and going. Cold, hot, wet or windy, life in my head becomes more enjoyable my taking a brief turn on two wheels. And since they won’t let me hang out the helicopter door with a machine gun any longer, I need the calming rush of living on the bike. Nothing else gives me that type of therapy, nothing…
