Because my hips couldn't take being crunched up on the Kawi ZX-14 anymore and I love having power. Just went from wicked top end to wicked low end. Upright seating position on the Roadster was/is perfect for me. Loves me my Rocket Roadster.

I test rode one quite a while ago. Most memorable part was just hanging on. Amazed what this machine could do and why was everyone BEHIND me? Wanted more power for touring and carry capacity. Harley was out of the question on several levels. My red Rocket has everything and anything else I ask. There is something satisfying about sailing past a puddle of Harleys beside the freeway...

I don't know where I read Triumph was developing a frame aligned big engine, size yet to be determined, but big. I wanted the 1st one in Fl. Unfortunately, Mr Law and me had a little disagreement in my 04 SSR. 2 states, 3 spike traps, 3 blown tires down to the bare rims and 18mo. later I finally got to own my 1st brand new Rocket in 7-06'. No stinking test ride, no extra bling. As long as it's RED Thank You.
