Who said a red rocket wasn’t the best bike to learn on?!?!

Welcome and congrats!! I think I saw your new ride on Cycle Trader, Ebay or somewhere? Or one similar. I still drool over them!!
Is this your first bike or first Rocket!!?? They are a handful!! :D:thumbsup::)

Hello Turdbugler and welcome from Virginia. How young are you? I have recently discovered there are more than 30 men in America over 20 that have not ridden a motorcycle and I tell ya, I am appalled.
LOL! Well now there’s only 29 who haven’t ridden.

Wow! You stole it! Welcome from Minden Nevada Captain.

Well this is a tough one. Hello Turd, and welcome from sunny California. I think you will enjoy this site as it is an awesome site with lots of great minds. That's a sharp looking bike! My thought about the rocket. I would encourage you to get to know your lady before testing the limits. If you don't take the time to learn the Rockets abilities it will quickly teach you. She is a big boned girl with brute strength second to none. She will quickly spoil you of all other. I have a 23X18 windscreen on my girl and speeds above 110 mph and worsens at 120 mph is un-comfortable, could just be my bike as the windscreen was discussed in detail in previous posts and I found no one else to confirm any excess movement caused by the screen. My girl argues a bit about going in the twisty's but once in she plants and assures me she is ready for anything. That said, Iexperienced some highspeed bounce/wobble in corners from the rear, believe caused by the rear shocks not adjusted correctly. she specializes in acceleration no matter you speed or gear. Enjoy and Godspeed

Welcome from Atlanta. You've definitely got bigger balls than me. I started on a 750cc shadow. I most likely wouldve been a pissed off stain on the road if I'd started on a rocket.
I’m in Newnan. Stop by and show me how to ride this lady sometime if you’re in the area. I’m mostly sticking to what I’m familiar with right now and not getting too comfortable too quickly.
