So I gave up on finding a dyno tuner in my area who sounded competent, and bought the PCV + AT in hopes of optimizing the great tune that Hanso provided.

A few questions came to mind before I install it.

How close do the TPS values need to be? In TuneECU at idle I have CYL 1 at 600hPA, CYL 2 640hPa, CYL 3 610hPa. Is that worth screwing with, or is that difference significant?

If you tune with AutoTune and 89 octane fuel and save the changes over time, then switch to 93 octane and turn AutoTune back on, would you see it making adjustments for the difference in fuels? In other words, how sensitive or fine is the resolution on the O2 sensor and the AT program?

Or better yet, am I missing the whole theory all together?

The TPS value is nothing like the numbers you are quoting. They look like vacuum numbers for each cylinder. You will see a "how to" for that in my signature. It is easy to do, and well worth it, if you don't have the original air plumbing. With the numbers you are quoting, I would get them right.

Don't waste you money on expensive fuel. The basic 87 works just fine, and is all the bike needs. I phoned Triumph USA a few years ago and confirmed this.

@HansO's tunes, both for the bikes computer and for the PCV/AT will give you a very good combined result.

Thanks, I should have said vacuum but I figured that was the indicator for doing the balancing. Just didn't know if that was a significant difference and since I have the RamAir it should be easy enough. Thanks for the reference to your post on balancing too.
