2008 R3T
Been thinking about a new Goldwing and just wondered if anyone traded their R3T recently of sold one?

Sorry I can't help you but there was a guy (can't remember his name offhand) who had a red/black one in Florida who sold his...not sure if he still hits the forum but he may be a place to start.

The new Gold Wing is a good bike, some improvement on the front suspension, stereo upgrade and a lot of "vocal oldtimers" on the gl1800riders.com board can not stand the new rear end but it is still a good bike, nearly indestructible engine...and did I mention it is fast especially considering it's size.

They are expensive but you can usually, if you push hard enough, get two to four thousand dollars off of MSRP depending on level.

And supposedly Honda dealers have lots of 2010's, brand new, available that you can probably get a good deal on as well.

I haven't sold or traded one lately, but I bought a 2008 R3T with 12,000 miles about four months ago. Paid $8,500 to a private seller, so that did not include tax, tag and title. It needed a litle TLC but cleaned up real nice and is in good mechanical condition. Ride it every day. It has 17,500 on the odo now. More than you wanted to know, but hope that helps.

R3T prices..

I paid $11.5k for my '09 R3T Sept'10.....had 4500 miles on it.....not a scratch, nor anything wrong with it....just replaced the rear tire at 7500 miles this week.....:D

Fortunately or unfortunately I bought one of the first 2 08 R3Ts sold in Nashville so I had to pay full retail, I then bought the TORS, the touring windsheild, and several dollars worth of accessories. That would be quite a hit and frankly I am surprised these bikes will not do better than that. All my Valkyries and Goldwings did well, none of them selling for less than $1500 under what I acquired them for.
