I had yesterday. Took the bearclaw of for the first time....read all the posts looked at all the pic's, how hard can this be? Topped up the coolant and the fun began.
Start at the front and install the screw, align the tabs and push the claw up...so far so good, when i got to the rear mount it was nowhere near close to lineing up. And when i did get it to line up, the claw came off the tabs. I found it really frustrating to get all three fastenings where you wanted them. And i'm ashamed to say it took two and a half hours and i'm not really sure what i did. But i'm not looking forward to doing it again

Here's a pic.

Followed the line all the way around with the dremil cut off wheel.
Made me a bracket extention for the back bracket and bolted er up to the tank with some locktite. no wiggleing, no shaking, won't come loose.
Raise the tank, up she goes.

Thanks for that skip...it looks good and no more hassle.

No more hassle? There's no reason to cut the bearclaw down and "permanently" attach it to the tank unless you put on the triple filters. If you think the bearclaw is hard to get on and off, wait until you try to take off the manifold. They purposely install the throttle body clamps so you can't get at the bolts.

I did some cutting today too, maybe it will come up with the tank so I never have to take it off again.
