The Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) is just one of many sensors on the bike, all connected to the EFI. Actually there are 2 TPS's, primary & secondary.

Quite a few people (me included) have had a primary tps go bad. Costs about GBP 65 to replace.

You don't want the secondary tps to fail outside of warranty. It has to be replaced with the throttle bodies. ££££££s

Unless you have already removed the secondary throttle plates. :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: 8)

The shop told me the secondary was not replaceable so they changed the whole bank "under warranty".
