Recieved and installed my Verex exhaust today. Will get a sound clip when I can run it and warm it up. Dont like the empty space under it but I will come up with something, Do like removing that boat anchor oem exhaust.

I don't dislike the look.....The lines flow well from most angles.....Visual weight and balance seems to be very good considering the extra unsupported length etc..
Quality of the construction appears to be right up there too.
My only niggling thought is that it might restrict the gas flow due to is bore size.
Are you intending to do a dyno comparison test or just base your results on a seat of the pants ride about? I'm interested to hear your findings.
...also....What is the weight saving?

The weight savings is right at 20 pounds. Stock muffler was alittle over 25lbs and this one alittle ove 5lbs.
Bore size, I feel is good, I do have the DB killer installed so it looks smaller than it is..
Dont really care about performance gains, I will never use what it has anyways. I just did not like it sounding like a pissed off sewing machine.

Just did a quick start in my closed garage. It is loud in there, but its all closed up and everything is loud. I will say its no louder than my Harley.

I recorded a little sound video today but its not letting me upload it here. I will say its not as loud as I thought it would be. I let it warm up then did some quick throttle blips. No flames or sparks out the back, and very little popping. Im sure the DB killer helps in the no popping
once I can get out and ride I will have more info, but overall im impressed with this set up.
After watching other videos of different exhaust throwing flames and popping really bad, I was having second thoughts on changing the exhaust, but now im happy I did.
The only other thing I can notice so far besides the much better sound, is that it really seems to rev and react much quicker to fast throttle blips.
