Urgent info on Fuel guage please

Can anyone please tell me,

if the electrical connector from the tank to the engine is not there,

will the bike still start????

I would say yes, I believe power is provided through this connector for the fuel pump which is inside the tank.

Now, I have no idea what that has to do with the gauge, the gauge connects to an accessory connector with is independent of the pump.

Of course, I'm making assumptions here since you did not specify which model of R3 you have.

been a bit of a fanny (fanny in Scotland means vagina not arse, even though I've #been one of those for years )

too many blank plug ends under there for a simple old bolt tightener like myself

thew answer is,

that there's only 1 connector


and it runs the fuel pump,

so

lots of chug chug chug chug and no boom
