Perhaps it was one of those karma things, if one believes in that.
When I built my shop, I was able to help quite a few friends, and some guys I barely knew, repair or perform maintenance and modifications on their bikes. I had my table lift in the front part of the shop then with a full range of tools, metric, SAE and Whitworth.
Now that I have some physical challenges that aging brought on, it was good to have friends give me a hand. Trying to do it myself would have been a major, and painful effort.
I've had some good times with friends visiting the shop over the years, or The Man Cave, as it is known. That refrigerator in the background has a selection of beers/soft drinks and the two cabinets on the wall near it, some fine spirits, for after the work is done.
