Some folks have need to ride for days at a time and need some creature comforts while doing it.
 
I'm finally getting my new 2024 R in April and really have no desire to hold out for a supposedly souped up Storm version next year. It already has plenty of oomph and bugs tend to work themselves out later in the production run. The base price has already increased from last year and by 2025 a special model would probably approach the $30,000 mark. Sounds like they might have to upgrade a few more parts than just valves so longevity/reliability won't be affected but what do I know, I'm not an engineer.
 
Does anyone know if Triumph used different valve seats in the head for the TFC? Titanium valves need special copper alloy seats to help dissipate the heat and increase their longevity.
 
Do the new numbers even meet the increase we got from Penner's tune? It's been so long since I re-flashed mine I can't remember what the power bump was. I wouldn't be surprised if it's actually less than most of us got with just a flash.

It depends what kind of a tune the factory loads. Tune is tune, there is no magic table to just add power.
