With regard to tyre pressure versus aquaplaning ....... my logic would say that making your contact patch larger would increase your chances of aquaplaning.
I would bet that tread depth has a much bigger influence in the prevention of aquaplaning than running at a lower that recommended tyre pressure.

Logic would also suggest that the tyre that is supporting the biggest proportion of the load would require a higher pressure, but then, with the slightly added complicating factor of different tyre profiles, which the factory recommendations have already calculated/tested to take account of.
 
Effort matters, ride fast take chances alarm shut up im on my track 😎 rebound fast and slow set all in, fastest rebound, this thing is on rails gentleman, look at them seap groove edges, clean! No shaving inside or outside, tire not desentegrating, its a haus to ride with rebound set this fast, you got to get up in the seat. 👍

I had to read it 3 times as well to get this out of it . . . The jist of it is he's pleased with his handling and tire wear. He also explains his suspension settings, compression set soft and rebound set hard. The wee pic shows tire temp (obviously been riding) and pressure.

A bloke on a FB forum I follow was asking what tyre pressures would you advise for his bike, an HD Tour Glide I believe. This lad said 40 front and 32 Rear! I questioned him with, surely you would mean 32/36 front and 42+ in the rear. He came back with, well like I’d insulated his intelligence, no it must be 40 front 32 rear no arguments.
Is it me, or do you run HDs with those tyre pressures?
For my 2013 Speed Triple SE, the owners manual recommends 35 front, 42 rear. For my 2020 Rocket. 3 TFC manual recommends 42 front, 42 rear.

The Triumph tire pressure monitors seem to last much shorter than other brands. I installed an aftermarket on my 2025 today. I’ll take a pic and post it. My experience has been that even a couple lbs of tire pressure can seriously affect tire wear. I’m anal about this and always check before each ride. Once a week I check my tpms against a manual gauge to make sure they are still synced.
