@Nat67 Look here you little whippersnapper, you need to learn some respect for your elders! If you were over on this side of the pond, I would change up the batteries in my electric mobility scooter, chase you down and give you a proper flogging for your insolence!

Truth be told Nat, my eyes have been junk since I was a kid and the last half century hasn't improved them much. I can run the irons out to 100 meters or so but that's about the end of it.

Past that I would probably throw my neck out, looking like a bobble head doll, trying to get the bifocals to focus between the sights and the target.

Ps. Don't EVER let the eye doctor talk you into bifocals.

Pps. I would pm your s.o. @Nat69's girl and get her to flog you by proxy but I doubt it would achieve the desired results

Laser treatment sir. I'm getting it done when I'm 30 and got enough money , it's horrible not seeing and wearing glasses pisses me off and make me wobble and feel I'm in my own bubble shut away from society well I won't have that. Everything is one big fuzz and blur ... horrible just horrible... us blinds gotta stick together

Shooting uphill and downhill do require totally different levels of hold over and hold under its true !
I was once rudely awakened about 7.30 one Sabbath by a team of woodsmen clearing trees in the car park behind my house , one guy was stood with his back to me cutting the logs at a range of about 80 yards, I thought I would try and bounce a paint ball off his helmet and on getting his attention , tell em to shut the **** up ! After allowing for windage , elevation and the coreolius effect , I sent a .58 paintball through the 2inch gap of my upstairs window . I'm buggered if I hit the only bare patch of skin on his body , about a 2inch square patch on the nape of his neck just bellow the rim of his hard hat , it floored him over his saw horse ! After tracing the path of the shot back to my bathroom window , all three of them came marching round to my door . I'm glad they decided to sort it like men , coz had they called the police I would have been carted off for sure ! Those guys are still friends of mine to this day and whenever we meet , we recount the story and what an awesome shot it actually was !
