When I installed my Jars, I had the Triumph dealership install the TORs tune. It was never right and I didn't realize how wrong it was until I switched to TORs yesterday. It runs much better but upon startup, seems to trying to "find itself". With the Jars it started right up and settled in. It surged at idle though and had a lot of decel back popping, running very lean at low throttle openings.

The difference is significant at low RPMs now with the TORs. At idle it is very steady but it does meander around for about 15 seconds at startup. I am now wondering if the ECU somewhat set itself for the Jars and if the 12 minute tune would resolve the issue. Other than that, I love the TORs. I'm sure I also would have been very impressed with the performance of the Jars but just never got used to the exhaust note and never got around to installing the PC3 in order to have the correct tune. The PC3 will be going up on the classified section shortly. It still sits on my work bench.

You should check your throttle body balance and have the dealer reset the TORs tune. The ECU adaptives if you have your O2 sensor installed can make it run flakey.

Forget your tuning efforts. Your bike will never run right while Obama is in office.

I hadn't thought of that. It just could be the reason.

Edit: On second thought, although he dues bring ruin to just about everything, he hasn't had access to my Rocket so it is probably what atomsplitter suggests. I'll give the 12 min tune a try and if that doesn't do it will stop by the dealership to have the tune reloaded. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Mike glad you like the pipes. I think you would just be throwing away money to go get the same tune reloaded. If you want to get a tuneboy key we can load the tune i was running when I had the stock intake. If you want to get tune ECU you could use my cable and load one of their tunes. My guess is you should run good after the 12 minute tune.

I'd forgotten that you had a dyno tune Dan. I'll try the 12 minute tune to see if that resolves the initial start up "search". Even if it does I'd still like to use your tune. I'll call you.
