The factory map is downloadable from the internet via the TuneECU app, as dougl indicated. That's why it's important to select the correct trim, VIN range, and geography.Thanks for your reply
Hmm...... The TuneECU's app index shows ------> Read the map from the ECU (Only with a connection through USB)
If I can't download the map as described, how can I get a copy of the factory map as backup?
Or, does Triumph not allow the factory map to be downloaded....

In the app: Map > Open > Download > Triumph > Rocket 3 > {trim and VIN range} > {hex file with code for your geography} > Download
If you don't want to look them up, you can press/click on each hex file to see what region it's for and cancel if it's not the one you need. There's a US/Canada-specific one for each trim/VIN range.
