At the risk of sounding Anti-Triumph, my advice is to not pre-order.
When the Daytona675 was released, and the RocketIII before that, I used to moderate many bad experiences posted both here and during my former life on TriumphRat.Net. Some of the complaints were at the fault of the buyer, while others could be traced to issues with the manufacturer or the dealer.
Regardless of the reason, 100% of the posts reflected a buyer's remorse and negativity towards either Triumph or the respective Dealer.
Purchase a motorcycle with your heart; but do it when you can sit on it and pay a price that you can live with. Notice that I don't necessarily include a requirement to test-ride, but take advantage if it is possible.
