2025 Rocket (Evel Knievel)
I purchased a 2023 that had the panniers and mounting included. I traded it off for a 2025 GT Evel Edition and kept both. The dealer installed thee mounts but of course the lock is setup for the 2023. Does anyone know if a locksmith can re-do the lock or am I out of luck?

Thanks

I imagine imagine any good locksmith would cut a key from the barrel

Granted I didn’t do it personally. But. When i lost/replaced a panier/new mismatched lockset, my dealer svc desk guy showed me that the cyclinder is a simple deal, which he disassembled on the desk, re-arranged the dogs, and voila’, it was matched to my original key. Might be worth inquiring with your dealer, or youtube it and try it yourself.

First and important question: did the EK come with new locks? There should be two of them with the bike - so you just interchange them.

Especially because the new owner of the old bike might want to have his own locks back...

While it's easy to re key the cylinder locks it takes time and you will need spare shims. I thought it was a nice touch that triumph included the keyed locksets, which I found today installing my new bags.
