Does anybody have a link or knowledge
of where a man might find the OLD Triumph paint codes.
I'm wanting to "theme" my bike.
So far it's been a Rocket theme,
note the 3 chrome rockets on my sissy bar.

But, as you can imagine,
There's only so much you can do with Rockets.
Now I have a new Theme idea.
For this, I need the older paint codes.
Haven't seen one done like this YET,
so might as well go for it.
I think y'all will recognize it when you see it.
Any guesses?

As long as I can get REAL close thats whats important.
anything reasonably close ought to do the trick.
Here's my vision boys.
turning this...................................................................................into this

At least as far as the paint and body work goes.
They took a BSA Rocket 3 and turned it into a Triumph Hurricane,
I want to reverse the order and take a Triumph Rocket III
and make it look like an X-75.
That's the plan anyway.
That little orange number is the first Triumph I ever fell in love with,
I was 16 when it hit the market in Tulsa.
I wanted one BAD.
Didn't get it then, it was $2,100.
Now its $18,000. still can't get one,
but I figure I can have the best of both worlds by having my Rocket,
and making it look like a modern day Hurricane.
Hey,
A mans gotta have a dream right?

Yea I already downloaded that article, all 5 pages of it,
but thanks for sure.
So, What do y'all think?
Personally, I think it'll not only be a one of a kind,
but I think it'll look alright.
Opinions guys OPINIONS,
feedback please.

Pretty bike.

But doesn't Geek_Law have the market cornered on the "orange w/ white stripe" paint schemes? I think you'd have to get his permission or blessing or an easement or something first.

Wait, he's a patent attorney. You'll have to get a license.
