I have not seen one of these beauties for several decades and saw this one at breakfast this morning. Unfortunately, I didn't get to chat with the owner but the car is very well cared for and if they drove here from Connecticut like its plate says, its even better.
Some may not find the hood/bonnet latch to be cool but I do.

Beautiful car something to be proud of THEM REAR PIPES LOOK A LOT LIKE MY DP SILENCERS

But if they have drove from Portugal like the badge says then there my hero

My mate had one of these for about 25 years.

Sold about two years ago after buying a vineyard in Central Otago said he will never have time to drive it any more.

And the roads down that way are a riders / drivers paradise.

It was in original condition.

The bonnet latch does look cool

Yeah they come up in Oz occasionally too. Lots of export POMs settled here after WW2 especially in Perth WA and Adelaide SA. Both VERY dry climates help preserve old Brit cars and now retired baby boomers have a few.

Later Triumphs are much more common here, we even had TR8's here and many TR7/V8 clones even fitted with Aussie Leyland P76 4.4 litre alloy block (Buick derived) V8s that I have nearly pulled the pin on a few times..

No way it made it all the way from Connecticut. Especially not if it rained

I always wanted one of those with the Buick aluminum V8.
