Triple filters are noisey

that compression ratio does not seem to bad. harley is reaching that or pretty close to that with its fuel injected engines now. Only thing you are gonna have to do is make sure you run highest octane out there or you will be getting some serious knocking.
 
Just put a kicker on it and use both starter and kick it at the same time.LOL Really just need compression releases. The Raider has them on the cams and uses a battery the size of one from a 600cc ****** rocket. S&S could put the manual ones in for ya.
 
Hard start

It might be worth while checking the crank angle sensor for metal shavings. It might advance the spark and fire before TDC making it hard to start.
