Forgot to mention for any of you thinking of converting he only got 28mpg. Consideable difference from 40mpg.

That is very common on the "heavier" trikes and the Rocket qualifies in that regard. The Stallion that I am "considering" is supposed to be getting between 35 and 50 miles to the gallon depending on who you talk to, how fast you ride/drive it and what elevation you are operating in.

I saw a rocket trike at a place called the green welly, its a favorite motorbike stop on the way north, anyway, it had a stainless steel gas cylinder mounted between the back wheels. I asked the guy if it was an extra fuel tank and he told me the bike was converted to run on gas or petrol and that his range was huge. unfortunatly that was all I got from him.
