My rocket was running rough and got it down to a faulty TPS sensor and one of the harnesses [every time I moved the harness the tps readings changed)
Looking online I’ve found the tps voltage tolerance should be between .60 - .64v and the stepper motor between .72 - .80v. Now the issue I have is that if it set both the primary and secondary tps to .61v the stepper gives a reading of .53v. If I set the TPs at .67v then the stepper then gives a reading of .72. I can’t seem to get the readings correct. Is there a way of setting the TPs correctly and then manually (or with a programme like tune ecu) setting the stepper motor to the correct voltage or am I missing something. Could it be a faulty sensor . It may be worth mentioning that I have the 3 kn filter setup and have removed the butterfly shims from the secondary

You need the tune ecu software to set the TPS voltage. It tells the ecu to fully retract the stepper motor shaft prior to setting the voltage. Plus handles the adaptation cycle program.

You will not achieve 0.12 V if you do not install 0.5 mm clearance.

i have been telling everyone to forget about the measurement for a long time so let me put it another way
with tuneecu retract the stepper motor and set to .062 then hook it up and adjust it to .074 after you do that the clearance should be around 5mm and you will have the correct voltages and you will not screw it up messing with that setting trying to adjust to 5mm.

Thanks once again everyone, tried Herman’s method and the bike once again is running as it should. So much easier with tune ecu rather than trying to do it manually
