2008 Triumph rocket 3 touring
I stole every idea from guys on the forum just like most things i do to the rocket. Wanted to get that out there. Claviger Warp Spazonr3 Neville. i went with Pingel who evidently uses Shindy out of Japan. Quality as usual from Japan. i ordered some nut zerts (rivets) probably lots of names, those that can just weld a nut that would work also but it just needs to attach in the web im gonna call it, where the plastic cover goes on each side up front under tank. for the end at bars, i went with Nevilles idea to attach to fork tube. Spaz and claviger drilled into bottom yoke, so obviously that works, in roadsters, but Nevilles idea in his picture attached to fork and on mine its just smoother action there and better angle was accomplished. Ofcourse i havent tested yet and am not recommending this is safe or useful. I did it because i can  had to say that but for my application it may help. Heres some pictures

Doesn't clamp on fork restrict fork travel?
Nope thats lock to lock, smooth as silk but you can feel its drag in the cylinder, the way i have it now, with front end in the air it is moving freely with no bind, id say the tube doesn’t know its aligned so good, in the air with stuff loose i let it work and move where it wanted, as i mounted and worked the front end side to side lock to lock, like i do, and it set itself, .75 in of travel left both ways. Nailed it

I finally opened my trailer up to take a look at my wreck. Heck the clock lost about 5 minutes but was still ticking away ;) so I thru the battery charger on it and 15 minutes later it was a full charge. Not bad for not running for 14 months. I'm sure all the oil leaked down out of the tank into the sump. So I'll drain some and move it back up to the tank before I see if it runs.
Oh kevin nice cane handle you have there. I went with drop forged on mine.

I was talking about up and down, springs. I haven't seen my bike in 6 months, so I don't recall if that upper travels

It travels with the frame so it stays in perfect geometry as it stays level basically wherever you set it at, and the ends swivel with the body attachment has lateral play also in the supplied bracket.
