tour at carptener racing

Oh yeah, it's just a short hop of 1,750 miles. I guess Iron Butts die hard, huh, Steve.

Never have been much of an iron butt, Phil.
Prefer those 300 to 500 mile days with perhaps an occasional 700+ day.
Most I've ever done in one day ride is 800 miles and it kicked my ass on a Ninja when 40 years old.
Have done 700+ several times in the past few years on my V2K and R3R with MUCH less pain and suffering.
I always do Sturgis in 2 long days (1150 mi) and then perhaps four easy days to Carp's in Joisey (1750 mi).
How far are you from there?

An easy 85 miles due north. Need a place to rest your head, just say the word!

You be a gracious man, but I really wasn't on the beg (not that I am above it).
Just checking to see if a face to face was feasible as I will likely be stuck there for a couple days.
If I do this, I'd prefer to stay close by the shop somewhere.
Can't get too far from my baby, you know.

YES plenty of lodging close to the shop and some good restaurants

So then, If I bring the motor in say on the 10, 11 or 12th of August can I be smoking 210 ponies home by the end of business two days later on the 12, 13 or 14th?
The time frame is what's important as I shall work my trip itinerary around it.

YEP WE CAN set it up and make it happen

... and I will look forward to either meeting you, shaking your hand and breaking bread with you or *****-slappin' your sorry ass on behalf of others here that might never be in the position to do that... or both. My offer stands and I guarantee better grub and scenery. You will have to pay for the in-ground pool pass though!
