Being handy with the spanners (seeing the job I do makes it so) I am thinking of doing the job my self, not unlike doing the trident (same settup) nd save some money. does any one of you experts have a drawing or dimensions of the angled peg rail needed to hold the cams in the correct position when timing. triumph p/n t3880202 called a cam timing jig.

I have one and can take some measurements later today or tomorrow.

Tom

thank you Tom

Another question. Is the timing chain/tensioner/sprockets/slides from the r3t the better assembly than the original parts. My dealer is arguing the toss about it said there in nothing he can find and no recalls for my bike?.

Its just hard work dealing with some people they look at you as if you are dense and think to them selves "what do you know What I say is right" seriously pigs me off.

Leemo,

Call Triumph Customer Service. Tell them what is going on and ask them to call the dealer or have the dealer call them. Obviously this dealer has not be enlightened to the cam chain upgrade kit.
