Today while I was riding I took my hand off the throttle to adjust my right mirror and the rpms slowed down substantially lower than appropriate for the gear I was in. When I twisted the throttle the engine would not accelerate even when I downshifted and it made a sputtering sound. I had to stop the bike and turn it off then re-start it before the throttle was again responsive. What caused that to happen and what's the best way to quickly remedy it if it happens again (besides not letting it happen in the first place)? Thanks.
