If you check out my threads, you will see that I have been *****ing about Triumph not stocking basic parts required to service my 08 RT3. Here is the latest.

20K service....VALVE COVER GASKET...10 days delivery. Granted, this is better than the 4-5 weeks I have experienced in the past, but come on Triumph, 10 days to get a valve cover gasket...get your act together. :(

Valve check isn't required at the 20K service. Was your valve cover leaking?

Why does the stupid dealership that you use not carry one in stock, or god forbid they could order one in before the service on your bike- they know that you want your valves checked at 20000??????????????? so you order a gasket before the service date then they would have a brand new gasket when for what ever reson they are removing the cover for at 20000miles for:confused::confused::confused:
As for your past experience with triumphs inability to supply parts why did you not double check that the dealer had all the parts in stock for your service:confused:

I would switch dealers right away ... My dealer stocks service parts, brakes an tires...anything I have to order arrives in 3 days....the issue is with your dealer not triumph

Most, and I mean MOST, parts that my dealer orders only take 2-3 days from the USA Triumph warehouse. Not sure where your dealer is shopping, but England is the long way around.
