I had an oil leak that showed up in the same general vicinity as yours, Watsonian. It occurred as a result of my dealer not putting my Mulberry mistress back together properly after performing the 10K mile valve check/adjustment. They blew the seal (gasket) on the upper cam chain tensioner. Hope that yours is simpler to source and repair.
