Thinking about selling my R3T

I like your solo setup. When I get another one, I'm gonna try it. Note: I pull trailers everywhere. I even bought a Classic Industries Hitch for the ZX14. Don't see that everyday.

If I was a smaller guy I would have a ZX14 or a BMW 1600 GTL

The solo set up keeps me out of trouble

Glad you've found a way to keep your Rocket. Hope it works out for you.

Thanks, one of my friends is getting older and the long trips kill him to the point he won't go far off. With the trailer I can haul mine and 3 more, get to where we want to go 20 hours away and then have our fun.

Red and Black R3T

Elivis, I got her. Get this. Bought it on ebay from MaxxBMW in New Hampshire. Come to find out the previous owner lives only a few hours from me in Cookeville, TN. When I checked the records, it was bought and serviced at Castle Powersports in Madison where you go. Does Castle do a good job? If I had known he wanted to sell it, it would have saved me shipping.

It looks good!

I like the Castle service desk guys especially Tom. He is an ex-state trooper and a straight shooter-no pun intended. On the actual service side I am a little leary as I have had my oil plug put in too tight by them and my crash bars not tightend up on the last work they did. They even put too much oil in. Maybe the guy was just having a bad day.

I checked the records and initial work was done at Castle. After that a dealer in Knoxville took over. She has 10k on her and the BMW dealer in New Hampshire says they did the 10K on her. Don't know if they did, but they charged enough for it. Sitting her straight up, the Oil tank is over full on the dip stick. Is this going to be a problem?

Well, I had my Victory CrossCountry first and then bought the R3T, Couldn't afford them both but just did it anyway. I love the Vic and it's my long range touring bike. Yea, it rides and handles great, got the 6 -spd, electronic cruise, sound and all that. But there's just something so **** raw about the Rocket. They are different bikes for different purposes for me. I've been to Harley land also but I just never was a conformer. In these parts the Vic and R3T are rare birds. Life is fleeting guys and there is no promise for tomorrow. Get the bike, or bikes, you want. My R3T has the Rivco risers, D&D/K&N with TORS flash upgrade. I'm keeping both.

If you are checking it warm, it was for me, it blew the excess out the breather.
