Getting back to working on and riding the bike lately has really been good for me. And as much as I'm eager to keep going both with getting the maintenance up to date and some eventual mods, there's something hanging over me I can't ignore any longer… money.
I had mentioned in another post that we went full-time RVing for 18 months. Well the fifth wheel and truck are still sitting around—the RV unused, the truck the world's most expensive grocery getter. It's past time to sell both. While I'll continue to chip away at my backlog of Rocket work a bit each day, getting things sold will take priority until that's done. It will put me in a far better place to give the Rocket the love it deserves.
So my question is, what sacrifices (financial or otherwise) do you make now, or have you made in the past, to own a bike & keep riding?
