Went to mow the lawns and have 2 flat tyres on the ride-on.
Thought I'd do the edging with the self-propelled and 2 minutes in the front axle bolt sheared.
Ok I thought, do the banks with the Flymo - pulled the starter, the cord snapped and I smacked myself in the mouth.
Take a hint, go for a ride. Lip is now so swollen that it catches on my full face helmet so that's out the window!

Think I'll just sit down with a box set of "Father Ted"!!!!

You've gotten a taste (like starter cord) of what I go through everytime I try to do anything worthwhile. It's called "luck of the Irish" which is a real curse....

Interesting. I had a triple whammy Saturday.
1. GFI outlet powering garage just stopped working, couldn;t open garage door (leads to GFI were loose)
2. Multi-function tension arm on my LX-176 tractor snapped while mowing. (ordered replacement, cost $$$)
3. Got a sudden spike of arthritis pain in my left foot while disassembling said mower deck. (no reprieve, can barely walk)
I was too exhausted to go for a ride after all that so I went on Sunday.

Yup, when my day starts like that, I call it quits. Find a good movie on the tube. Medication also helps. Lot's of medication......
