First chance I have had to get on for days, not to mention be able to think straight (havent had to take any Pain killers since the early hour this morning).
I just want to say a Monstrous Thank You To All, for your concern and All help, assistance and offers of assistance from All the Guys And Their Better halfs and especially to Amy (Big Marty's Mrs daughter) for being my chaffur running me to the Hospital and all the rest of the little trips around, The swelling has started to dramaticly go down so al should be good for our return trip later in the week. And If at any stage I was not my happy self to Any Body I apoligise because it was probally due to the pain killers not work well enought or if I was rude or obnoxious it probally due to them working too well!!!!!
I am Staying with the big Marty's till later in the week and then it will be 4 to 5 steady short distance day to get home.
I met a lot people for the first time and put faces to names and got to meet some whom I already felt I knew before setting eyes on them, the amazing thing is There is Not One that I met who I wouldn't be Proud to Call a Mate

Wheelstood his bike away from a stop-and-go man while towing a 450kg trailer. He's reefed his already dicky knee trying to hold everything up when the front wheel touched back down. I was about 6 bikes behind when it happened , thought he was on his arse for sure. Believe me he and Ann were really fortunate it wasn't worse than what it was..... Hospital staff told him to rest and elevate etc...not run around like a madman here , there and everywhere. Think his homebrewed honey bourbon helped the painkillers achieve their task.

This is news to me..What Happened

Ray
I sprain both my Knee and ankle in a near miss topple at roadworks 300km away from Hervey Bay, I just barely made it before they blew up twice the size and not allowing me to use the gears

unintentional wheel stand while checking that I was not close to Malcy when taking off, probaly only lifted a foot but I was not expecting nor had I planned it, I am only guessing that as I was looking over my left shoulder I accidently pulled on the throttle

We've been really concerned about the big lug and also for Ann, but the 2 of them are a couple of the bravest individuals you could meet. Yesterday, straight out of hospital and on crutches, he was hopping round trying to sort out some electrical problems for others in the middle of the High School oval. Seeing him on Friday night it's hard to believe he was up and about the next day.

I know how disappointed he is to have missed out on some of the stuff here but he's still be able to be himself and trying to help others - perhaps just a little grumpier...

And we're all really glad and thankful he can rest up at Marty's before tackling that loooooong ride home.

Hanso, i guess the rocket community is the same allover the world, when i saw the guys and girls for the first time at Maggie Valley i felt like they were life long friends, get well soon my friend,,,or shuld i say bloke??

Pssst,
Lupe, I "think" it's "Mate".
Their Mate and our mate ain't the same.
We'd say brother or friend.
i am interested in that honey bourbon tho.
Been trying to figure out how I could send some genuine moonshine through
the mail and get it to Australia without the border patrol seizing it.
It seems to be a little tougher since 911.
Maybe a gallon of "after shave" would get through as a birthday gift...
