T-Bars

Hi all,

Bought a set of T-Bars from @chandelierman which arrived last week, fantastic quality, next day delivery etc, and a really good price!!

Fitted them late last week and took it out for a test ride yesterday (after putting the correct oil in , another story).

They are so comfortable!!! perfect height and reach, loving the look and the position! Feel more connected to the front end somehow, hard to explain, but you probably get it.

Couple of questions (you knew they were coming):

• Has anyone who has fitted them done anything different with the clocks? they come with a bracket to move them closer to you but I feel this drops the clocks out of my direct line of sight. I am probably going to make a different bracket but wondered if anyone else had and there are pics somewhere.
• Did anyone change the front brake line? It seems extremely tight as in couldn't roll brake level and switch assembly any further back due to brake line being so tight

That's it, I am really pleased with the bars and would heartily recommend picking some up if you have the piddling small change required to purchase them.

Add the T-Bars to the free screen from @cowboyuptex and the LED headlights fitted recently and she is looking pretty **** sexy at the front, need to work on her rear, but that is for next winter.

Don't have any pics right now, I'll try and remember to get some tonight. I made a bracket to relocate mine forward in front of the bars. I also have a keyless ignition so it's not a big deal trying to reach around them to get to the ignition switch. I need to tilt the angle back a little though as the sun reflects right off the face and into mine! As for the brake line, did you re-route it to behind the fork tube? That helps out tremendously.

Hi mate im in leigh had T bars on mine for 3 years now had no problems with them

Hi Timbo , I've had chandeliers T bars on for a while and love them I used the bracket supplied and no probe for me also my brake hose is on the tight side I suppose but not a broblem bars could come down a bit more but would stretch it too far for my liking .

Thanks for the pics guys, helpful as always.

I like the look of the clocks stacked but sounds a bit of a faff to do.

The position using the bracket supplied is ok but not in line of sight, that’s all!

Think I’m about where I need to be so can live with the brake hose tight.

I shall use yours pics and come up with a plan. Liking the keyless option which I would have to do if I moved the clocks to other side of bars, as I’ve got a fly screen fitted. That may be a long term project, weather is getting better and there is riding to do

Love my bars now when I first fitted them I went WTF as I knew nothing about the bracket that comes with them, after asking on this site I had to go garbage diving in my trash can(dustbin) to retrieve the bracket I had tossed with the box.
