Supercharged 2020 Rocket 3.
The Rocket has somewhat a cooking engine. Like I have said before the supercharger turns the Rocket 3 engine from a tractor to a Train. Similar engines like Honda's Civic and Accord 2 -2.4 litre straight 4's run our supercharger conversions with much higher static compression and produce much more power for the same boost. This video shows the result of running JE 10:1 pistons in an otherwise standard engine fitted with the TTS supercharger. Gains are from start to finish. All you have to worry about is the clutch:).

Good information Richard I am taking my Engine apart to add some HP to it. Its got over 22,000 miles on your blower kit. The piston are stock but ceramic coated by Power-Tripp Performance. These I replaced the stock ones with when I exceded the stock fuel pump limits (MY BAD)
It will be interesting to see how the ceramic coated pistons faired out as I am not nice to my beastie I push her quite hard.
Its good to see you back I know ther are a lot of Captains out there that have had questions about your kit and hearing it from the horses mouth is the best method.

So if your stating you can run the blower with higher compression then someone on this site who states you can not might not be right. Hmmm I am glad I am trying it anyway. the key is to not overspeed the blower and of course keep the air cool enough that it does not predetonate. this can be controll with acky injection and/or intercooler. Of Course getting rid of the intercooler will create less drag on the bike. Say using a radiator like the one that came with my intercooler/radiator combo would do nicely it just needs to be offset back to center of the bike. Hell its only about 11.5 inches wide. I will first try it using the intercooler and then evaluate whether I can eliminate it or not.

Could one use a smaller intercooler - BUT pack Dry Ice around said cooler - for speed runs? - Just thinking out loud.
you have a point there except it would be hard to tune for. I think ideally running two boost levels one with and one without alcky injection. then you could have the injector turn on verses boost level and add octane as well as the cooling affect. of course if you could control the boost with your wrist you just need to have the spray turn on at the right boost level and away you go. This would be good as you don't always run above 10 psi screwing around on the street hell 6 psi is fun to play with anything higher gets to be just a plain outright power stomping brute!!!
