I decided to refinish the radiator guard and top and bottom chromed plastic guards. I'm having trouble loosening some of the bolts, any suggestions?

Try penatrene might help,bit tricky could tear tank if not carefull

Good quality 'T' allen keys, WD 40 or other penetrating spray, & a lot of cussing always helps!!!:RockOn:

Ok, I got all of them but the bottom right that only holds the plastic bottom guard. It broke off. I drilled it and broke and easy out off. Lots of cussing, no help. I used metal cutting wheel on grinder and was able to remove broken easy out. Drilled it with 1/8" bit and used next size easy out. Broke it again, more cussing. No resources left except zip tie. I wish now I would have drilled it with 1/4" and re tapped. The price you pay for living in paradise.(next to the ocean).

Be a bit wary of that lower radiator tank, mate, it's aluminium (aluminum to you Yanks!) and pretty delicate.
After you refinish the covers, and since the bottom one doesn't really have to come off for any other reasons, why not put a dob of epoxy there to hold it in lieu of the busted stud?

MIne come off easliy I wish I did not have the crack on the radiator cap stem right where it goes into the radiator. This bugger pisses on me 
As I said previously Warp, that's perzackly the same place mine cracked. I blamed it on a bodgie tie-down on a ferry, with a strap across the radiator. Maybe it wasn't that at all???
I bogged it up with that two-pack Selleys epoxy stuff, worked for a couple of years, but then started leaking again and I gave up & bought a new radiator. Nobody in Oz could repair the alloy tank, said it was too thin to work with.

Yes I think it can not hanlde the wake entering the Warp field. I find the brackets that hold th efog light on vibrte to much at speeds above 150 mph. This vibration causes stress cracks inth ebrackets until you look down and they are flying in the wind by the wires. Easy fix pull them off and install them on my lawn mower. Now I can mow at Night

The answer to all stuck nuts and boltsd is a product named "KROIL". ..The utmost penetrant. The only product I've used tat can free SS bound bolts. The trick is to spray it on the stuck stuff and wait 24 hours. This is the tits...believe me! Go on line and get this!
