Still dragging it out

3Three months and counting. Triumph sure drags their feet in the warranty dept.
My local triumph dealer had my 05 Rocket (back in 2014) in the shop for 3 months due to the TPS although at the time they didn't know about the idle problems the TPS was giving Rocket owners. Anyway I got it back much worse than when I brought it in. It would barely idle. The first words out of my dealers mouth was, "We couldn't fix it but don't worry, no charge." You mean no charge for making it unrideable and now a useless pile of sh**? The 2014 Rocket in the shop caught my eye and since I didn't learn my lesson I bought it. I sold the 2014 in 2020 for the 2020 GT Rocket. I Love the 2020 GT but I wish I would have kept the 14 Rocket. I think I liked it more than the 2020. Go figure. 🤫

What is wrong with your bike Johnny ?
It noses over after 4500 rpm. No matter what mode its in or tc off. They changed the abs module, did not fix it. Changed the reluctor rings and wheel sensors. No change. It has been 3+ months to figure that out.

Wonder if lemon law can come into play on something like this. I'd be pretty mad at this point.

Can they confirm what tune is in the bike ? Get a new version of the correct tune then re-down load this correct tune ?
They know what tune is in it. In fact they wont let the dealer change the ECU, they said that wont fix it. But they were completely sure the ABS was making do that. Guess what, they were wrong. The problem is that the answers Triumph gives us is literally coming from the U.K. Now it seems it takes 3 weeks to get an answer from them. Then 3 mores weeks to figure out it didnt work. 2 cycles of that and we are 3 months 1 week into it. Evidently Triumph does not have competent people here in the States to fix their bikes. And with todays technology it takes weeks to communicate across the pond. I truly think messages would be faster by horse back.

The lemon law would apply. I have to send a certified letter to Triumph detailing the issue, collect all the service records. The get 30 days after the letter to repair or replace or refund. Another 6 weeks down at least. So i have emailed Triumph after sales and they offered to start a review for replacement. Lord only know how long that would take. So now i am waiting for the tech to respond about the reluctor wheels and sensors not fixing it. So i have no choice to wait. That work was done on the 3rd of this month. Still waiting for a response. At this point Triumph has gained and lost a customer in one transaction. Cool bike if it were to run right. I am ready to break up with them. I am extremally upset. Havent been without a bike in 25 years. Till now. Should have bought another Harley. At least decisions could be made in a timely manner.
